The community of WH Ford celebrated the school’s 40th Anniversary on Wednesday, September 11. Various memorabilia was available for viewing. The evening began with families meeting current teachers and spending time in classrooms. The community then gathered in the gym for a short ceremony. Special guests were introduced: past principals, Brad Howard and Donna Mccall as well as Superintendant Lisa Frei. The very first Administrative Assistant who worked at Ford for 31 years, Rita Wright, received a grand round of applause. Trustee Jay Kasperski brought greetings from the Board of Education. Blair Gullickson, past staff member, shared stories and memories of the early days of W.H. Ford. He paid tribute to Mr. Ford who was an integral part of the school on a regular basis. The community then enjoyed a BBQ and Anniversary cupcakes. It was a wonderful celebration of 40 years as Falcons!
